- Don't worry yinyin fan! I will have more to say about yinyin soon. I also want to write more about all the weird/majestic alt fashion people I've seen in shanghai. If you google "Chinese street fashion", it's all these super-planned runway-model looking pictures, completely different from what you get when you search for "Japanese street fashion". But when you go to clubs or certain parts of the city, there are so many people with cool/cute/bizarre clothes and hair and makeup styles that I've never seen anywhere else. Anyway, thank you so much for reading. I don't know your exact situation, but I remember feeling very hopeless when I was younger and had dropped out of college. Eventually it got better, and hopefully it can better for you too! At the very least, if there are no interesting people where you live, the joy of the internet is lets you meet infinite cool weirdos. All of Xiaoxi's friends (including Yinyin) were people she met on the internet in high school living across the country, but now, after many years, they're all real life friends living in one city. It's hard, but I hope that with time you can get unstuck.
